Sunshine Coast Business Collaborative “Mind Hive” Project

This was an exciting projects where we facilitated and drove action around emerging opportunities created by demographic and economic change linked to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Tracey recognised that potential small business opportunities linked to the $2.1 billion Health precinct was not being capitalised on by existing and potential business and government leaders, and other community stakeholders (education providers and community organisations). We formed a collaborative with CCIQ and the Kawana Chamber of Commerce on a project using human-centred design-thinking workshops, which we called Mind Hives,  to consider opportunities that link with economic and regional development strategies including the Sunshine Coast Regional Council’s seven high value industries.

The results of the survey that provided a baseline for the project can be found here.
