Julie’s roles have ranged from media and public relations, policy advisor, to senior management over 18 years with the Queensland Government. She’s engaged with key industry, regional development, government agencies, community groups and social enterprise networks to identify regional social and economic issues and priorities, and to facilitate partnerships to achieve economic development, employment and training targets. She has worked with key industry groups, including tourism, hospitality, construction, agriculture, mining and retail to progress regional development, employment creation. Julie is a passionate advocate for social inclusion, education, training and economic development. She lives on the Sunshine Coast, loves travelling and making the most of the walking trails around Noosa.
